A Commitment to Higher Education

 

Today's children are tomorrow leaders. It's important we inspire, teach and instill good leadership values in our children. Leadership values such as setting the example, integrity, perseverance and hard work are critical in building leaders who can standout and make an impact in the workplace and community.

 

My devotion to leadership and education has led me to start the OPERATION Give Back. I am making a commitment to invest in our children by honoring those who are excelling academically in high school and displaying great leadership skills in the classroom and community. Knowledge is the key to success.

 

OPERATION Give Back

 

OPERATION Give Back is about giving to the community who supported you. I want to give back to Westover High School by helping students attend college and gain the knowledge necessary for them to be successful throughout life.

 

The Leading and Empowering Others (LEO) Foundation is proud to present the Michael Hargett Leadership Scholarship to students of Westover High School located in Fayetteville, NC. Three (3) outstanding students will be chosen to receive a scholarship based on academic merit and outstanding leadership totaling up to $5,000. All applicants must submit the following items below to be considered for the scholarship:

 

-    Student Essay

-    Letter of Acceptance from the college  

-    High School Transcripts (must be at least a 2.5 GPA)

-    25 community service hours
