During the holiday season, I got a chance to finish reading an excellent book by Andrew Womack called "Don't Limit God: Imagine Yourself Successful." The author discusses how we limit God in our lives. He also talks about how a majority of us limit God's ability to help us reach our fullest potential. We don't rely on him. We let fear control our decisions and put shackles on God so he can’t work through us. However, Mr. Womack encourages us not limit God and follow the purpose God has for us and lean on him to help him accomplish our goals. This is a fantastic book and by far the best book I've read in 2015. I highly suggest for you go to your local book store and pick it up.

While reading books, I try to capture key points that inspired me. Below are my main take-aways from the book. I hope you enjoy!

Book Notes

If you're busy and have too much going on in your life, you will limit your ability to hear GOD and will miss what GOD is telling you to do. Therefore, you need to be still and try to listen to what GOD is calling you to do.

You do not need to know everything before you step out and make a decision. You just need to know GOD is speaking to you and trust HIM to guide you through your journey.

The biggest failures in life come from those who play it so conservative that they don't risk anything.

Vague goals are dream and wishes

Trust in God and never be fearful. Live your life under God’s leadership and be mindful that HE has your best interest.

Our lives are coming to an end when we become silence to the things that matter.

People ask to be healed, for financial stability and for good health. But, if you cannot see yourself that way, it will never happen. You have to believe in yourself as well as God. We will never see things happen on the outside until we see it on the inside.
